So Sidney recently sought me out to tell me about something that she needed and to ask me to get it for her. Imagine my surprise when I heard her ask me for a “hooker”! I had her repeat it a couple of times to make sure I was hearing her correctly. Yes, I was hearing her correctly. Of course I took her to the other room so she could repeat her request for her mother to hear. Dee had the same confused look on her face that I likely had upon hearing Sidney’s request.
After a little discussion we had Sidney showing us a “hooker”. So what is a hooker, you ask? Why it is a plastic clothes hanger, of course!

Dee had duty again today and was going to be gone all day. It was going to be a nice day so I decided to do a little geocaching. After breakfast and getting everyone dressed we loaded up and headed out.
We met up with Jeph and his wife Sara after lunch and grabbed a few caches together. It sure helped having that many more sets of eyes to find those caches!
When we all started to get hot we headed our seperate ways. After a quick errand the girls and I stopped at Dairy Queen for some well deserved ice cream.
At the end of the day we logged 13 found caches with zero did not finds. Undoubtedly this was my personal best day so far. And it make it even better, three of those caches were ones I had failed to find on previous attempts.
The girls are all tired after our busy day. A nice warm bath tonight and they should be ready for bed.

The girls and I loaded up tonight and went to the “Popcorn house” to see the movie Up. Great movie! The girls and I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. The story is great and very touching. This was easily the best family movie that I have seen in 2009 and possibly even 2008. If you’ve not taken the family to see Up yet I think you’ll be glad you did. Go check it out!

So last night I made my way to the Century 16 and purchased my ticket for the Glenn Beck Common Sense Comedy Tour which was being simulcast from Kansas City. It was an enjoyable show that offered comedy and some interesting history which I honestly didn’t know. Glenn makes an excellent case about the way our political parties and country are going.
The particular theater that I went to didn’t have the full house that other theater go’ers have reported. (But considering I am in CA it wasn’t that big of a surprise!) Still, there were some where between 50-60 other folks there with me.
Glenn is putting on another show Thursday, June 11. You can look for a theater near you that is showing the big Encore show. I bought my picket through Fandango. To find out more about the upcoming show check Glenn’s website. If you didn’t see the first show I urge you to catch the second one!

As my first official post I will make a quick entry about my plans for the evening. I am headed off to the theater to watch the Glenn Beck show he is doing in Kansas City tonight. Since he announced it would be shown in 440 different theaters I was anxious to go see the show.
As soon as I make this post I am off to see the show!!
