It’s been snowing pretty steady since last night and about half an hour the girls school canceled classes for tomorrow. Fortunately I don’t need to go any where and can sit inside and enjoy the beauty from here.
After a 36 hour trip from California we arrived safe and sound at our new house here in Missouri. It was 18 degrees when we arrived at 6 AM; much colder than we were acustom to back in CA!
Our first day in MO was spent getting enrollment paperwork for the children at their new schools, shopping for groceries, picking up cleaning supplies and getting new paint for the wall colors we did not like.
Our house hold goods are scheduled to arrive on Friday. It will be a busy day getting everything unpacked but it will sure be nice to sleep in my own bed again. Air mattresses are better than the floor, but they can sure draw the heat out of you!
