Getting the fleshing beam setup

Today I made it out into the shed for a little while this afternoon and setup a Blue English fleshing beam.  This beam is designed to be operated standing up instead of bent over at the waist.  It is going to be a real back saver!

Mike, I much prefer this system over the traditional method where you have to bend over the board to work. I’m a bit over six feet tall, so the height of this system isn’t an issue for me. It might be difficult for someone much shorter than myself. The only thing I’d do differently is add some rubber matting that reduces standing fatigue where I stand. I’ve mounted this system in a shed that isn’t dedicated to trapping, placing something against the wall that would make cleanup easier would also be nice.
