Critters on this beautiful day
No idea what the high temperature was today, but what a beautiful day! We went outside and spent some time with the chickens and ducks before dark. Here are a few pictures of the gang.
The red sexlinks we bought last year as chicks and raised them. The girls LOVED it. The Araucanas were given to us from a woman who had too many. We’ve really enjoyed the sexlinks but when they’re retired they’ll be replaced with silver laced Wyandotte stock. The ducks were bought as a group of 4 to get a pair of mallards for the pond. They were the only mallards at the auction that day and I had to take the two mongrel drakes. Guess which duck the fox ate?
