We just picked our first small batch of green beans out of the garden tonight! I also found a big cucumber that I missed on my last pass through.
The green beans will be steamed tonight with just a touch of butter added.

This is our first year with a garden in our new home. So far we’ve done quite well and have been able to enjoy several fresh vegetables. This afternoon I will be going out to pick more zucchini, a bell pepper and cucumbers. Still to ripen are pumpkins, cantaloup, green beans, sweet corn and tomato.
