We finished disassembling the old metal shed we found on the property in pieces and blown into a ditch. The were brought up to the house and are not attached to the rabbit enclosure. While giving the critters some old buns I managed to get this picture of the tom, from our pair of royal palms, with a mouth full of the bun.
We brought this pair of turkeys home this evening. They’re just a few months old so they’ve got a lot of growing left.
Spring turkey season opens here in Missouri in just about 4 weeks. I’ve got to get out between now and then to dig out my turkey hunting gear and pattern the shotgun. I’ve decided to buy some brown shipping paper and staple it to an old piece of plywood. That should make it pretty easy and inexpensive to help me determine which choke and load to use.
